Day 361: The Contentedness of the One
Single-strand wire art day 361. Artistic metaphors and the contemplative epiphanies that come from them are a large part of why I’ve loved this project. Over the past year the fuzzy notion of connectedness that I carried with me has developed into an ever-present, articulate reality of our collective unity. We are all connected but it’s not that we are tethered together by a third thing, a spiritual rope or a separate force of some kind. Rather, our connection to each other is elemental. In the broadest sense, there is only one thing. An absolute, indivisible thing; a uni-verse. You and I are shaped from it. In birth and death it is all flattened and reshaped, dissipating and reforming, and still always only one thing.
